You’ll be scored against the following key areas:

Developing a clear intention
How have you demonstrated your ability as a leader to balance your deep care for your employees with your drive to challenge them to grow, both as individuals and as part of the fulfilment of your company's purpose?

Actively managing yourself
As a leader, you need to manage your own mood state. Otherwise, to a greater or lesser extent, you will infect others with your mood. This doesn’t mean you can’t be real and say when things are tough, but it does mean that your own emotional stability is important.
How well do you manage mindfulness?

Deepening listening skills
Listening is one of the most undervalued skills. A conscious leader will go as far as to develop a culture of listening with wide-reaching benefits. How well do you listen?

Dealing with difficult situations
How are you actively working on improving your stability within yourself to handle difficult situations and conversations, despite the potential discomfort and busyness that may arise, in order to become a more conscious and effective leader who can save time in the long run?

Giving power away
As a leader, how are you actively striving to strike the right balance between authority and accountability in order to effectively give away power, and what steps are you taking to implement a strong and clear intention that can help enhance trust and confidence among your employees?

Building a sense of safety
What steps are you taking as a leader to actively help build and earn a safe environment for your employees, recognising that simply declaring it as such is not enough? Additionally, how are you cultivating emotional awareness across your entire organisation and ensuring consistency and stability in your leadership to help your employees feel safe and supported in the workplace?

Fostering equal belonging
As a leader, what conscious and systemic process are you putting in place to ensure that all members of your team have an equal sense of belonging, as opposed to some groups feeling like they belong more than others? How are you actively working to create an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and supported?

Letting people in
How do you approach the power of connection as a leader, recognising that sharing something personal about yourself or your experiences can help cultivate stronger relationships with your team members? How do you balance your own journey and personal approach to openness with the needs and expectations of your team?

Enacting a strong purpose
Being driven by a deep desire to improve, change and scale your impact. This standout trait which all conscious leaders have is clarity about their purpose in life. Some call it a ‘calling’, others a ‘north star’, but they all have some clear purpose that orientates their thoughts and actions.
